What To Wear

Your RMT prefers that you wear loose, comfortable pants, or LONG shorts, and a regular T-shirt when you visit our clinic.  This is for ease of assessments and stretching, etc...

The Treatment Room

After filling out a short health history/waiver form, Tim will take you in to the treatment room to assess you.  Once a treatment plan has been established, Tim will leave the room so you can change and get on the table under the blue sheet provided for you. 

Always listen to the instruction given to you by your RMT, as sometimes it will be unnecessary to change at all.  There is a hook on the back of the door to hang your clothes or you may fold them and leave them on your chair.

We use gowns, scrub shorts, and a sheet to ensure you are always fully covered.

Communication is so important to a successful outcome.  If at any time you are uncomfortable with the treatment or if the pressure of treatment is too much OR too little, please communicate this to Tim.

After your treatment is over, Tim will leave the room so that you can get dressed.  Please get up slowly.  You may want to allow time for your blood pressure to return to normal, as sometimes you may feel a little dizzy.

Once you are fully dressed, open the door and Tim will return to the room to go over any HomeCare suggestions he may have for you.

Following your massage, it is very important to keep hydrated.  Feeling sore or stiff is not unusual after any deep tissue work.

If you are under the age of 18, our policy requires a parent or guardian to be present with you in our treatment room.
